Living with Parkinson’s – we need your help

If you’re living with Parkinson’s, are taking Sinemet® Plus, aged 40 or over and want to be part of something that could lead to better treatments in the future, we’d like to hear from you.

By taking part in a clinical trial, you’re helping researchers understand how medicines work and your contribution could help improve the lives of others living with Parkinson’s in the future. At Quotient Sciences, we’re proud to be part of the journey that brings new medicines to life. But we couldn’t do it without the incredible people like YOU, who volunteer to take part in our clinical trials. Your involvement truly makes a difference in advancing healthcare and helping others live better, healthier lives. If suitable, you would receive payment for your time as well as travel allowances, and potentially access to new innovative treatments. If we think you might be eligible for one of our Parkinson’s clinical trials, you will receive full information about the study from one of our medical team at a screening appointment and you can ask questions before deciding if it’s for you

 What are clinical trials?
 

Clinical trials are carefully controlled research studies involving people, designed to help us learn more about new ways to treat or prevent health conditions. Their purpose is to:

• Help researchers better understand medical conditions 
• Improve diagnosis, prevention and treatment of health conditions 
• Evaluate effectiveness
and safety of new and existing drugs 

All new medicines undergo rigorous testing before they can be prescribed or sold and the clinical trials we run are part of this process. We are working alongside Parkinson’s UK and Cure Parkinson’s to try and help in the fight against this cruel disease
