Having just wrapped up my second trial with Quotient Sciences, a 17 night stay this time, it’s clear why I keep coming back!
Honestly, one of the biggest reasons I love doing these is the incredible atmosphere inside the clinic. It’s easily one of the most social environments you’ll ever experience. Between having constant laughs with the other volunteers, catching all the live football on TV, playing pool, and getting along so well with the staff, the time just flies by. The staff make you feel completely taken care of, and the desserts alone make every meal something to look forward to!
It really is a win-win situation. The inconvenience allowance is a massive bonus, but knowing that you’re playing a genuine part in advancing medical science gives you a real sense of pride too.
Even better, the financial payout from this stay is going straight towards something hugely meaningful to me: I’m putting the entire allowance towards buying an apartment for my mum. Knowing that these trials are helping me get closer to that milestone makes the whole experience even better.
